Before booking, we ensure your tortoise is fit to sleep. Hibernation is only safe for healthy animals with sufficient body weight. We will review your tortoise's health history and current condition.

2. The Wind-Down (Preparation)
A safe hibernation starts weeks before the big sleep. We oversee the critical "wind-down" period, ensuring your tortoise’s gut is empty and hydration levels are optimal before cooling begins.

3. Controlled Hibernation
Your tortoise will be hibernated using the Fridge Method at Liz’s home.
